Cogeneration - CHP/ WHP Technology
What is Combined Heat and Power?
CHP also referred to as 'cogeneration' is the simultaneous generation of usable heat and power within a single process. The power generated is usually electricity but can also be mechanical power for driving equipment such as pumps, compressors, and fans.
Where can it be used?CHP can be considered at any site where there is sufficient heat (or cooling) demand - particularly if that demand is for extended periods of time.
Examples:
|
BenefitsCHP can cut costs, reduce carbon emissions, ensure a more secure energy supply and improve overall energy efficiency.

What is Waste Heat to Power?
WHP or Waste Heat to Power is the process of recovering waste heat and using it to generate power with no combustion and no emissions.
Where can it be used?WHP can be considered at any site where there is a significant amount of heat generated for an extended period of time.
Examples:
|
BenefitsWHP can reduce energy costs, generate emission free electricity and improve efficiency.
