Verde Solutions approved as an Energy Efficiency Service Provider
We are pleased to announce that Verde Solutions is an approved Energy Efficiency Service Provider for the Combined Heat and Power (CHP) Program offering under ComEd’s Energy Efficiency Program for 2018. This recognizes both Verde Solutions' CHP technical background and our capacity to develop program leads in ComEd territory.
The primary objective of the 2018 ComEd CHP Program is to assist clients in quantifying energy efficiency opportunities through CHP by offering a CHP Feasibility Study: a reduced-cost technical assessment. The Feasibility Study is designed to help an eligible ComEd clients make decisions on implementing CHP energy efficiency measures by providing key information including project feasibility, pre- and post- energy usage estimates, and potential energy cost savings and implementation costs.

As of July 31st, Verde Solutions will no longer accept small business opportunities less than 10,000 square feet unless it meets one of the three qualifiers listed below.

- Client with multiple locations and 10,000 cumulative sq. ft.
- Client has existing relationship\contract with Navigate Power or Verde Solutions (6+ months)
- Parking lot opportunity with minimum of 10 fixtures locally (within 50 miles of Chicago) or 20 fixtures non-locally.

CLC to install solar at their Grayslake campusUnder an agreement signed by the CLC board, the panels will be installed by Chicago-based Verde Solutions LLC. The company will own the panels for 20 years and charge the school for using the energy generated. The school will save about $32,000 a year buying greener power generated from the panels. And after 20 years, the school will own the panels.
$3.6 M Solar Project for College of Lake CountyThe College of Lake County in Grayslake, IL is partnering with Verde Solutions to develop a solar installation of more than 1,600 ground-mounted solar PV modules in the approximate area north and west of Willow Way, between the main buildings and a set of ponds.
Solving Hunger Through Solar PowerRxSun, a locally owned, Chicago-based residential solar company, has partnered with the nation’s largest domestic hunger-relief organization, Feeding America, to help fight hunger. For each residential solar system installed by RxSun, the company will donate 1,000 meals to those in need.
